Undergraduate students may register for an LLB research assignment (12 credits) or a treatise (24 credits) on a law-of-the-sea topic in their final year of study. You can find information on LLB admissions at Nelson Mandela University here

At masters level, students may register for the LLM (Ocean Governance) or the LLM by research on a law of the sea topic. The admission requirements for a full time or part time LLM (Public Law Research) can be found hereCandidates may also apply for admission to the following:  

and choose a treatise topic related in one way or another to the law of the sea.

At LLD level, candidates can apply for research on a law of the sea topic. The admission requirements for an LLD (Public Law) can be found here
