South African Research Chair in the Law of the Sea and Development in Africa

Undergraduate students may register for a LLB research assignment (12 credits) or treatise (24 credits) on a law-of-the-sea topic in their final year of study. Here is information on admission to the LLB degree at Nelson Mandela University.

At LLM level, candidates may apply for admission to the research LLM (Public Law) on a law-of-the-sea topic. Candidates may also apply for admission to the general coursework LLM, the criminal justice coursework LLM, the labour law coursework LLM or the taxation coursework LLM and choose a treatise topic related in one way or another to the law of the sea.

Candidates may also apply for admission to the LLD (Public Law) on a law-of-the-sea topic.
